Tree House Design Our clients normally provide the initial inspiration for the design of their dream tree house. We encourage clients to provide feedback during the design and building phases to make sure that it is everything they imagined. Tree Top Builders helps clients to imagine the views, the fit into the overall landscape, and the tree’s long term health and integration with the tree house components, during the design phase. We offer two different design approaches. One is to visit the site, inspect and climb the tree(s) to take precise measurements. With the detailed information collected, we draw the platform and then design the structure and floor plan to scale. This gives the client a very good idea of what the finished tree house will look like. The second approach is to "design on the fly" which can save the client some design and travel fees. If cost is a primary issue, and the project is a basic design that will use readily available materials, this is a viable option. When it seems prudent, we will have a qualified local arborist assess a potential site before we travel to your property, which helps to save some initial costs.
