Joe is the newest addition to the building crew here at Tree Top Builders. Hailing from Connecticut, there he attended a technical high school for their carpentry program in which he graduated top of the class. He also graduated as salutatorian of the entire class of 2014.
In addition, he attended the SkillsUSA National Competition where he was the 14th place finisher in 2013 and bronze medal winner in 2014 for the carpentry contest. This competition takes the top high school builder from each state around the country and gives them the same project to build so they can be equally judged against each other.
For the past 5 years he has taken on every project put in front of him with precision, intent on coming up with creative solutions for problems and taking the extra time needed to ensure a quality job every time. Joe has focused on regular construction in the past, but has quickly adapted to the challenges of treehouse building, and has been especially eager to learn the ins and outs of tree climbing.
Even when not building custom treehouses, Joe finds a way to get outside usually for a hike, to go camping, or even to get out on a lake to do some water skiing. Whatever it is he’s doing, he always brings a smile and a positive attitude along with him.
