Tree House Near Asheville, NC

We do build tree houses all year round. The Asheville, NC mountains were dusted with snow a few times while we were building the tree house in January, but that didn't slow us down too much other than making some of the roads slippery. A lot of the materials for the tree house were purchased locally in western NC, such as the treated wood. But the bridge netting, thatch roof, cable for the zip line & bridge, the two swings, and artificial rocks for the climbing wall were ordered from all parts of the country.

A Tree House Theme

Every tree house owner can choose a style the fits with his or her own dream. This tree house needed to have an eastern feel to fit in with the client's property, taste, and style. So the woven half walls and translucent panels were designed to glow in the evening when lanterns are lit. The owner plans to paint Chinese characters on the window panels in black, and we're hoping to see pictures of that when it's completed. Even with a strongly themed tree house, you can still incorporate the tree house options that you want. The second platform on the other side of the bridge has a 12 foot climbing wall with belay line and a zip line that crosses the hillside.
