Treehouse #A9 – Ashton, Maryland
This is one of our favorite small treehouses. The balance between two large healthy hardwood trees provides a solid foundation for this back yard perch. It’s also a pleasure to use such high quality clear cedar and do our best finish work to show it off. We really enjoyed working with the family, too, and they fed us and put us up in their basement while we worked on this project for about a week. We made a courtesy call a couple years after building it just to check on everything when we happened to be heading home from the Bethesda to Rockville area, and it was good to see the trees and the project still doing well.
