1 - Connecticut Tree Platform

This cute perch is our 1- Connecticut Treehouse. The platform with a stick railing (sticks gathered from the woods) is the simplest of all treehouse forms and can be designed to fit the tree(s) that you have available.

1 - Connecticut Treehouse Design

Most basic tree platforms start at about 60 - 100 square feet. However, if the trees are big, they will take up a good bit of the deck space, which often leads people to choose a bigger design. This platform is about 10' x 14'. There is no square foot price, but the bigger the platform gets, usually the cost per square foot goes down. Either way, the best focus is to look at what the trees will support, what the budget can manage, and the best functional size for how you plan to use your tree platform and make a decision based on your values.
