Tree House #B4 – Columbus, OH

This large silver maple tree already had a dilapidated treehouse platform in the center of it which had rotten and mostly fallen down. The trees showed some evidence of suffering from the way the old tree house was built, but we cleaned it up as best we could, removed some poison ivy near and on the tree, and built a much larger and stronger platform and tree house above. We also installed a nice rope swing on a nearby tree that leans over an open swinging area. Trap door, sleeping loft, what more could a kid want?

This treehouse was featured in an article in The Columbus Dispatch in 2010.
